US Dollar Declines Against European Majors
During early Asian trading on Tuesday, the US currency showed weakness against most major European currencies.
At 1:40 am ET, the greenback dropped to 1.2919 against the euro and 0.9368 versus the Swiss franc, compared to yesterday's New York session close of 1.2889 and 0.9385, respectively. Presently, the dollar is worth 0.9371 against the franc and 1.2915 versus the euro.
Against its British counterpart, the US currency also edged down in early Asian session and currently trading near 1.6164 from previous session's high of 1.6124.
Euro-zone Zone producer price index data for August and September figure for U.K. Construction PMI report are due to release later.
