Euro Off Early Lows Against Most Majors
The euro that declined against most major currencies in the European session on Friday in response to Germany's Bundesbank opposition to the European Central Bank's further bond-purchase program bounced back shortly thereafter.
The euro is now trading at 1.2300 per greenback, 96.13 against the yen and 0.7825 against the pound, compared to early lows of 1.2243, 95.67 and a 2-day low of 0.7802, respectively.
Against the Australian and Canadian dollar, the euro is now worth 1.1790 and 1.2397, up from early lows of 1.1761 and 1.2367, respectively.
