Thursday, the Japanese yen recovered slightly from its European morning session's lows against other major currencies shortly thereafter.
The yen that slipped to 98.84 against the euro, 82.31 against the franc, 79.55 against the loonie, 125.04 against the pound, 64.35 against the kiwi and 78.65 against the greenback around 3:45 am ET is now trading at 98.52, 82.05, 79.37, 124.78, 64.18 and 78.54, respectively.
