| Yen Sharply Slips Against Major Rivals The Japanese yen traded lower against major currencies in European mid-day deals on Tuesday from early morning session's slight gain. At present, the yen is trading near new multi-day lows of 78.23 against the US dollar, 126.48 versus the British pound, 83.58 against the Swiss franc and 101.09 versus the euro from recent highs of 78.02, 125.97, 83.14 and 100.50, respectively. Against its Canadian counterpart, the Japanese currency also showed weakness in today's mid-day trading and as of now trading near a 1-week low of 79.72.   | |
