NZ Dollar Jumps To Fresh 5-month High Against Australian Dollar
The New Zealand dollar moved out of its late Asian session consolidation mode against its major rivals in early deals on Thursday.
The kiwi climbed to 1.2565 against the aussie around 6:10 am ET, its highest level since April 13. On the upside, the NZ dollar may find target around the 1.2530/35 level.
The New Zealand currency also advanced to 1.5510 against the euro around 6:00 am ET, its strongest level since August 28. On the upside, the kiwi may find resistance around the 1.5460 level.
The NZ dollar jumped to a 3-day high of 0.8291 against the greenback and a 2-day high of 64.41 against the yen around 5:50 am ET. If the kiwi extends gains, likely resistance levels are seen at 0.8320 against the buck and 64.60 against the yen.
