Canadian Dollar Jumps To Fresh 8-month High Against Yen




The Canadian dollar touched 84.78 against its Japanese opponent around 4:05 am ET Wednesday, its highest level since July 8, 2011. The next likely resistance for the loonie-yen pair is seen around the 85.10 level.
The loonie also reached as high as 1.3099 against the euro and 0.9879 against the US dollar around the same time. If the Canadian currency strengthens further, likely target levels are seen at 0.9860 against the greenback and 1.3060 against the euro.
