Pound Gains To 5-day High Against Euro

The British pound extended its previous session's uptrend against the euro during New York trading on Tuesday.
The sterling appreciated by 0.55 percent to a 5-day high of 0.8031 versus the euro at about 11:35 am ET, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 0.8074. Currently, the pair is worth 0.8033.
