Euro Extends Weakness Against Pound And Dollar


During New York afternoon trading on Tuesday, the European single currency extended its morning session's weakness against its U.S. and British counterparts.
The euro continued its early session's downtrend versus the greenback and fell to a fresh multi-day low of 1.3034 as of 1:05 pm ET from yesterday's New York session close of 1.3118.
Against the British currency, the European common currency slumped further in today's afternoon deals and presently trading near a new multi-day low of 0.8028, which compared to 0.8074 hit late New York Tuesday.
