Australian Dollar Extends Weakness Against Most Majors
During early Asian trading on Wednesday, the Australian dollar continued its previous session's downtrend against most major opponents.
The Aussie is currently trading near 1.0374 versus the greenback, its lowest level since September 20 from yesterday's close of 1.0392. The next downside target level for the aussie-greenback pair is seen at 1.0370.
Against its Japanese counterpart, the Aussie dropped further in today's early session and as of now trading near a 3-week low of 80.71, compared to 80.86 hit late New York Tuesday.
The Australian currency also edged down further during Asian morning deals and fell to a 2-day low of 1.2444 by about 6:35 pm ET from yesterday's North American session close of 1.2418.
