The Japanese yen eased from its early highs against the pound, U.S. and Canadian dollars in the European session on Wednesday.
The yen that rose to 78.49 against the greenback and 79.32 against the loonie around 4:00 am ET is presently worth 78.63 and 79.53, respectively.
Against the pound, the yen is trading at a 2-day low of 124.45 from an early high of 124.10.
