Erasing decline, the euro spiked higher against the Australian and Canadian dollars on Friday's European deals as sentiment lifted ahead of Bernanke's speech at Jackson Hole later in the day.
The euro hit near a 2-month high of 1.2183 against the aussie and a 1-week high of 1.2470 against the loonie, compared to early lows of 1.2136 and 1.2399, respectively. The next resistance level for the euro is seen at 1.24 against the aussie and 1.28 against the loonie.
