Australian Dollar At New 4-1/2-month High Against Canadian Dollar
Extending previous session's gains, the Australian dollar crept higher against the Canadian dollar as European markets opened higher. The aussie advanced to a new 4-1/2-month high of 1.0529 against the loonie with 1.06 seen as the next upside target level. At Wednesday's close, the pair was worth 1.0505.
