During early Asian trading on Friday, the Japanese yen traded lower against major opponents. The yen is currently trading near 2-week low of 82.15 against the Australian dollar, new multi-day lows of 63.32 against the NZ dollar and 78.20 versus the Canadian dollar, which may be compared to yesterday's closing values of 81.98, 63.16 and 78.04, respectively.
The Japanese currency also edged down against other major rivals in today's early Asian session and presently trading near 78.79 against the US dollar, 96.71 versus the euro, 80.55 against the Swiss franc and 123.83 versus the British pound from yesterday's new York session's highs of 78.44, 96.15, 80.08 and 123.18, respectively.
