Yen Climbs Further Against Majors


Extending its early gains, the Japanese advanced against other major currencies in early European session on Thursday.
The yen hit an 8-day high of 79.23 against U.S. dollar, near 2-week high of 123.07 against pound, fresh 3-week highs of 81.92 against franc and 98.35 against the euro.
Against the loonie, the yen rose to a 2-day high of 77.16.
The yen gained to as high as 79.77 against the aussie and 62.70 against the kiwi.
