Dollar Extends Decline Against European Majors; Strengthens Against Yen
The US dollar extended previous session's downtrend against the major currencies of Europe in early deals on Friday.
Around 6:40 am ET, the dollar reached closer to its psychologically important mark of 0.91 against the Swiss franc and slipped below the key 1.32 level against the euro for the first time since April 12.
Against the pound, the greenback reached 1.6124 around the same time, its lowest level since November 8, 2011.
On the downside, the greenback may find target levels at 1.6170 against the pound, 1.3250 against the euro and 0.9080 against the Swiss franc.
Against the yen, the US currency is presently trading at a 10-day high of 81.79 with 82.0 seen as the next likely resistance level.
