Dollar Strengthens Against European Majors




The US dollar edged higher against its European major opponents in late Asian trading on Monday.
As of 3:30 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.5840 against the pound and 0.9109 against the Swiss franc, up from Friday's closing quotes of 1.5873 and 0.9070, respectively.
Against the euro, the US dollar rose to 1.3239 around this time and this was up 30-pips from Friday's closing value of 1.3269.
