Pound Jumps To 9-month High Against Yen



The pound staged a sharp uptrend against its major rivals in early European trading on Wednesday.
The pound is presently trading at 131.0 against the yen, its highest level since June 2011.
The pound also jumped to fresh multi-week highs of 1.4581 against the Swiss franc and 0.83 against the euro around 4:15 am ET.
The sterling advanced as high as 1.5719 against the dollar before holding steady around 4:10 am ET.
On the upside, the British currency may find target levels at 132.10 against the yen, 0.8290 versus the euro, 1.46 against the Swiss franc and 1.5735 against the dollar.
