| Yen Ticks Down Against Major Rivals The Japanese yen ticked down against major currencies by about 3:00 am ET Monday. At present, the yen is trading near 125.94 against the pound, 78.02 versus the dollar, 82.99 against the Swiss franc, 100.33 against the euro, 80.88 versus the Australian dollar and 64.72 against the NZ dollar from recent highs of 125.55, 77.80, 82.59, 99.84, 80.49 and 64.43, respectively.   Greenback Falls Sharply Against Majors The US currency staged s sharp fall against major opponents at about 3:00 am ET Monday ahead of Euro-Zone PMI reports. As of now, the greenback is trading near 1.2862 against the euro, 0.9404 versus the franc, 1.6150 against the pound, 0.9830 versus the Canadian dollar, 1.0369 against the Australian dollar and 0.8294 versus the NZ dollar. | |
