| Yen Advances Against Major Rivals The Japanese yen advanced against major rivals in New York afternoon deals on Tuesday. At present, the yen is trading near a fresh multi-day high of 80.78 against the Australian dollar, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 81.19. The yen also edged up against other major opponents and currently trading near 63.92 against the NZ dollar, 83.00 versus the Swiss franc and 125.93 against the pound from previous session's lows of 64.56, 83.53 and 126.74, respectively.   | |
