March 1 (Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett said his Berkshire Hathaway Inc. sold insurance that will require his company to pay a client if France wins the World Cup soccer tournament.
"I think we’re going to lose 30 million bucks or something like that" if France wins, Buffett said today in an interview on CNBC. Ajit Jain, who runs one of the Omaha, Nebraska-based company’s insurance units, sold the coverage, Buffett said.
