European Stocks Recover As Cyprus Rejects Bank Levy
Shares in European markets rose in the opening minutes of Wednesday trading as investors awaits the U.K budgets statement, while market reacted developments in Cyprus as parliament rejected a bank deposit levy.
STOXX Europe 600 gained 0.38 percent or 1.13 points to 296.68
STOXX 50 rose 0.75 percent or 19.94 points to 2,691.90
Investors will be closely following Europe`s reaction after Cyprus`s parliament overwhelmingly rejected its government`s bailout deal without a single vote in favor.
