Yen Weakens Against Majors


The Japanese yen edged lower across the board in early London/European session on Monday.
The yen is presently trading at a 1-week low of 78.67 against the US dollar, down from last week's close of 78.42. The Japanese currency also drifted lower to 101.71 against the euro, 84.15 against the Swiss franc and 126.17 against the pound around 3:05 am ET.
Against the resource-linked units, the yen reached as low as 80.30 against the Canadian dollar, 80.47 against the Australian dollar and 64.09 against the NZ dollar before leveling off around 8:10 am ET.
On the downside, the yen may find target levels at 78.80/79.0 against the greenback, 102.0 against the euro, 84.30 against the Swiss franc, 126.50 against the pound, 80.80 against the aussie, 64.40 against the kiwi and 80.50 against the loonie.
