Japan Eco Watchers Current Conditions Weaken For Second Month

Japan's current conditions deteriorated for the second consecutive month in September, survey data from the Cabinet Office showed Tuesday.

Assessment of current conditions dropped by 2.4 points to 41.2 in September. Likewise, the economic outlook index, reflecting the level of confidence in future conditions, slipped to 43.5 from 43.6.

The Cabinet Office said the economy has been weakening recently.
