In early European deals on Friday, the Australian and NZ dollars firmed against the U.S. dollar.
The aussie rose to 1.0318 against the U.S. currency from Thursday's closing value of 1.0291. If the aussie gains further, it may target 1.04 level.
Against the greenback, the kiwi edged up to 0.8008 with 0.81 seen as the next resistance level. At Thursday's close, the kiwi-greenback pair was worth 0.7986.
