German Unemployment Rises Slightly more Than expected in Aug to 9k


German joblessness rose for a fifth month running in Aug, gaining a slightly more-than-expected 9K in sea/adj terms against the expected 8K and previously reported 7K
The number of people out of a job rose to 2.901 million in Aug from an upwardly revised 2.892 million in July.
The unemployment rate held steady at 6.8 pct, unchanged from July.
