-GBP tops the table today after another better-than-expected release. Retail were flat in July (consensus -0.2% m/m), but June was revised significantly higher (1.1% m/m from 0.3% previously). As with all of the June/July UK data, the figures should be treated with caution, but are another reason (along with June IP) to expect the decline in Q2 GDP to moderate as the figures are revised. The small revisions implied, however, would do little to close the gap between the GDP and labour market data.
