In early European deals on Thursday, the pound dropped against other major currencies. The pound fell to 2-day lows of 1.5196 against the franc and 0.7907 against the euro, compared to yesterday's close of 1.5214 and 0.7897, respectively. Also, the pound hit a 1-month low of 1.5459 against the greenback and near a 4-week low of 122.62 against the yen.
