Dollar Jumps To 5-week High Against Euro And Swiss Franc

Extending its recent rally, the US dollar rose above the key resistance levels against the euro and the Swiss franc in early New York deals on Thursday.
The greenback advanced above the key 0.97 level against the Swiss franc for the first time since June 1. The dollar-franc pair is presently worth 0.9707 with 0.9775 seen as the next likely resistance level.
The US currency also climbed to a 5-week high of 1.2378 against the euro around 8:40 am ET. On the upside, the greenback may find target around the 1.2290 level.
