Pound Trades At 5-day High Against Euro And Swiss Franc

After a brief pause in early European deals, the pound resumed its late Asian session's uptrend against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland ahead of the North American session on Wednesday.
The pound is presently trading at a 5-day high of 0.8066 against the euro and 1.4894 against the Swiss franc with 0.8020 and 1.4940, respectively seen as the next likely resistance levels.
