Pound Strengthens Further Against Euro And Swiss Franc




After a brief correction in late Asian deals, the pound resumed its early Asian session's rally against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland in early European trading on Monday.
The pound is now approaching to a psychologically important level of 1.48 against the franc for the first time since January 6. If the British currency advances further, 1.4810 is seen as the next resistance level.
The sterling also breached above the 0.8130 area against the euro, its highest level in nearly 2-years. On the upside, the pound may find target around the 0.8085 level.
