Swiss Franc Slips To 6-day Low Against Euro; Jordan Confirms Head Of SNB
The Swiss franc slipped to a 6-day low of 1.2036 against the euro ahead of the North American session on Wednesday after a report showed that the Swiss government named Thomas Jordan as the permanent chairman of the Swiss National Bank.
The euro-franc pair moved as the market believe Mr Jordan will continue the ceiling of EUR/CHF at 1.20 as he worked very closely with the previous head Mr. Philipp Hildebrand, who resigned after allegations that his wife involved in currency trades shortly before the SNB intervention on September 6, 2012.
