| Pound Surges Up Against Euro And Franc The pound surged higher against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland in early Asian deals on Monday. As of now, the pound is trading near a 4-week high of 1.4603 against the franc and a fresh 3-month high of 0.8232 against the euro, compared to last week's close of 1.4555 and 0.8254, respectively.
