Pound Hits New Multi-month High Versus Euro

The British currency edged up against major currencies during Asian trading on Friday. At present, the sterling is trading near a new multi-month high of 0.8239 versus the euro, which may be compared to yesterday's New York session close of 0.8256.
The pound climbed to 1.5869 against the dollar, 1.4594 versus the franc and 130.59 against the yen.
