| Yen Slightly Off Early Highs Against Majors The Japanese yen pulled back slightly from its early highs against its key counterparts in the New York session on Thursday. The yen is now trading at 84.93 against the aussie, 82.43 against the greenback, 83.09 against the loonie, 89.54 against the franc, 130.53 against the pound, 67.30 against the kiwi and 107.64 against the euro, compared to an early 1-1/2-month high of 84.01, 2-day high of 81.84, 1-week high of 81.91, new multi-week highs of 88.95, 129.56, 66.59 and 106.92, respectively.
