| The US dollar index (DXY) is again little changed. EUR is only slightly firmer but was volatile around the deferral of the Greek decision, initially plunging from 1.2820 to 1.2736 but recovering by the NY open to 1.2833. The yen underperformed, USD/JPY extending its multi-month rally from 81.80 to 82.54 – an 8 month high – on markets pre-empting a change of attitude to policy easing. AUD initially followed the EUR to 1.0380 but then gave way to a fresh 2 day low of 1.0338 before stabilising to 1.0360. NZD similarly probed a fresh recent low of 0.8112. AUD/NZD drifted up from 1.2720 to 1.2750  | |
