| Australian Dollar Rises Against Majors Erasing early losses, the Australian dollar strengthened against other major currencies in early trading on Friday. The aussie is now trading at 1.0288 against the greenback, 1.0062 against the loonie and 80.74 against the yen, compared to early lows of 1.0250, 1.0034 and 80.36, respectively. After hitting a 2-day low of 1.2620 against the euro, the aussie rebounded. The pair is now worth 1.2587, compared to Thursday's close of 1.2598.   | |
